Small-sized mining equipment for gunning tunnels

Today we shipped 5 sets small-sized gunning machines to customers in North America. These machines have a displacement of 5m3/h, are small in size, flexible in movement, and are suitable for short-distance or local support. Customers want to use these machines in tunnel construction. Compared with large equipment, small shotcrete equipment has low purchase cost and is suitable for small and medium-sized tunnel projects.


Small-sized gunning machine has important applications in tunnel engineering, especially in narrow spaces, complex geological conditions or scenarios with high requirements for equipment flexibility. Its specific applications include the following aspects:
1. Shotcrete support operation
Function: Small shotcrete equipment (such as wet shotcrete trolleys, small concrete sprayers) is used for initial support of tunnels. Concrete or mortar is sprayed onto the tunnel wall under high pressure to form a support layer to prevent surrounding rock collapse.
Advantages: The equipment is small in size and light in weight, which is easy to move and operate in narrow tunnels; the spraying efficiency is high, and the support operation can be completed quickly, reducing the risk of manual operation.
2. Adaptation to complex geological conditions
Application scenarios: Under complex geological conditions such as fault fracture zones and weak surrounding rocks, small equipment can flexibly adjust construction parameters to adapt to different geological needs.
Technical features: Some small-sized shotcrete machine for tunnels is equipped with an automatic control system, which can adjust the spraying pressure, speed and angle in real time according to the surrounding rock conditions to ensure the quality of support.
3. Operation in narrow spaces
Advantages: Small equipment has a small turning radius and can shuttle freely in narrow tunnels. It is suitable for projects with limited space such as subway tunnels and mine tunnels.
Operation flexibility: The equipment is compactly designed, which is convenient for operation in low or curved tunnel sections, reducing construction interference.
4. Rapid support and emergency treatment
Application scenarios: During tunnel excavation, if local surrounding rock instability or collapse occurs, small spraying equipment can respond quickly to carry out local reinforcement and support.
