Health and safety considerations when operating shotcrete machine

 How to operating shotcrete machine healthy and safety, what’s the considerations? The Health and safe work procedure for shotcrete as below:

1.    The shotcrete workers should daily review the job site conditions such as pressured lines, equipment set-up, hazards from debris and the environment.  Always check to guarantee the shotcrete machine running safely and low noise.

2.    Always wear safety glasses or goggles, use safety shoes or boots and hearing protection. 

3.    Shotcrete workers should become familiar with all machines and operate them strictly follow the manufacturer’s safety precautions.

4.    Before working, also need read Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) of the material to avoiding possible dangerous.

5.    Work site need has well lighting and ventilation to ensure nozzle man could see everything clearly. And need to control dust and overspray.

6.    In cold weather and hot weather, in order to protect the Shotcrete area, need consider tenting and heating.

7.    When shot concrete, also need pay attention to nozzle, hose to reduce the potential dangerous.
