ABB frequency converter
Peristaltic pumps are a type of positive displacement pump used for pumping a variety of fluids. The fluid is contained within a flexible hose or tube fitted inside the pump casing. The actual pumping principle, called peristalsis, is based on alternating compression and relaxation of the hose or tube, drawing content in and propelling product away from the pump.
A rotating shoe or roller passes along the length of the squeeze hose creating a temporary seal between the suction and discharge sides of the pump. As the pump’s driven rotor turns this sealing pressure moves along the hose forcing product to move away from the pump and into the discharge line. Where the pressure has been released the hose recovers creating a vacuum, which draws the product into the suction side of the pump. According to different squeeze structure, hose pump is divided into pressure shoe structure and rollers structures.

Compared to shoe structure, roller structure don’t need extra add lubricating oil in hose pump pump house, only need add silicone grease on the surface squeeze hose. Because roller structure will produce rolling friction between rollers and squeeze, while it is sliding friction between shoe and squeeze hose, usually sliding friction is much larger damage than rolling friction. Besides, once adding lubricating oil in the pump house, must make hose pump add sealing structure.
