We have been producing peristaltic hose pumps to feed filter presses since 2012. They ensure a stable and reliable feed, which is essential for fully automatic filtration solutions. Our industrial hose pumps offer outstanding performance, technical performance and top quality.
Industrial peristaltic hose pumps also have a wide range of applications, such as water treatment, mineral processing, chemical industry, food industry, pharmaceutical, paint and pigment industry, agricultural biogas, paper mills, etc.
The hose pump is a peristaltic pump, which is a positive displacement pump used to pump a variety of fluids. The fluid is contained in a flexible tube mounted in a circular pump casing. Rotor compression flexible tubes with multiple boots attached to the outer circumference of the rotor. As the shoe turns, the pressurized portion of the tube is squeezed closed (or "blocked"), forcing the fluid to be pumped to move through the tube. Additionally, fluid flow is directed to the pump as the tube opens to its natural state ("recovery" or "elastic") after the cam has passed. This process, called peristalsis, is used in many biological systems, such as the gastrointestinal tract. Typically, there will be two or more rollers plugging the tube, trapping fluid between them. The fluid body is then delivered to the pump outlet at ambient pressure. Hose pumps can run continuously, or they can be indexed by partial rotation to deliver smaller volumes of fluid.
Last week, we provided a Canadian customer with 6 sets hose pumps for use with filter presses. From the selection to the final solution, we provided very good service, and he was very satisfied with our products and services.
Features of the automatic filter presses used hose pump for handling highly corrosive and non-homogeneous inorganic solids:
1. No pollution. Since the only part of the pump in contact with the fluid being pumped is the inside of the tubing, it is easy to sanitize and clean the inside surfaces of the pump.
2. Low maintenance requirements. They lack valves, seals and glands, making them relatively low maintenance.
3. They are capable of handling slurries, viscous, shear sensitive and corrosive fluids.
4. Pump design prevents valveless backflow and siphoning.
